     In mid-autumn September, we went to the Carpenters Woodworking Workshop, a tourism factory located on the side of an industrial road. The smell of fresh wood lingered in the air. There weren’t a lot of fancy decorations in the factory, only simple wooden products, pinball tables, guns, pencils, blocks, trains, etc. It was as if they brought everyone back to childhood.

      During this event, everyone listened carefully to the history of the wood factory and the rise and fall of Taiwan’s woodworking industry. Through the DIY activities of making a desktop clock, we experienced using a drilling machine. We finished the project after uniquely painting the clock. Looking at the desktop clock in your hand, everyone felt the simplicity and the warmth of woodworking.
